#EverythingRPChatroom FAQ and Rule Definitions

1. How far, exactly, can we go until we break the PG-13 Rule?

Please take into consideration that there are bound to be users who join the chatroom that are as young as 14. Yes, your characters can have bloody fights and curse up the wall like no other; however if it gets carried out of hand or if it becomes to graphic then the mods/admins will request that you thin it out a little. Yes, your characters can have relationships with others, no matter the type, and they can flirt around and be naked, touch each other in certain ways; however, again, if it gets carried away and there’s too much of it or if a certain user feel uncomfortable with what’s going on then you will be asked to respect that user (but within reason). However, sex, sex play, “lemons” and anything along those lines are strictly prohibited as it already violates the main dAmn chat rules.

2. The rule on respecting other users?

We are all here to relax, roleplay, and have a good time. This room isn’t about drama, starting and dwelling on relationships, fighting or excessive arguing, or anything of the like. Please respect everyone else and you will be shown the same respect. If there is a problem outside of the chatroom, please keep it there as this chatroom had nothing to do with it. If you ever want to talk or need advice on life or other things, we certainly won’t turn you down, but that’s why the affiliated chatroom #ERPCCounseling was created.

3. What do you mean by spamming, flooding, and flaming?

We all like to shout, to enforce a certain phrase, and can sometimes get carried away. Use common sense here and don’t post several lines of the same thing, stretch a word or punctuation to ridiculous lengths, or overuse that shift button we so love to press when we’re shouting. If you want to display your art, you’re more than welcome to. We all want critique and praise, we understand that. But excessive display or continuous pestering with the artwork is considered spam in this chatroom.

4. What do you mean no pornography?

There are bound to be users over the age of 18, and we won’t discriminate or harass you if you’re into pornography. But due to the main dAmn chat rules this is strictly forbidden.

5. What lies under the offensive content category?

#EverythingRPChatroom was created to be used by any user. We do not discriminate against race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, political views, or anything of the like. So in reference to rule number two, please keep this in mind when you discuss certain possibly touchy subjects as it may upset another user.

6. What is God-Modding?

“God Modding is in essence when someone's character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try.”

7. Promotion, please?

This chatroom was created strictly for enjoyment, not advancement. The mods and admins are there to enforce the rules, keep order, and participate as well. They don’t bite, and most are quite understanding and willing to listen to a suggestion or two. They’re not there to obsessively kick, ban-hammer, or shake their mighty rods of power. Mods and admins are no better than regular users other than the fact that they have more privelages.

8. Sexual oriented RP or over suggestive conversations?

Please refer back to the first rule of keeping the role playing PG-13 and below. As much as we know certain users like sexual content or suggestive themes, it must be strictly prohibited not only to respect other users that may be offended but that it will break one of dAmn’s main chat rules.

There is a difference between "sexual RP" and "romance RP". Romance RP is fine, kissing, hugging, saying love words, etc is fine. But the RP must not go further, as describing a sex scene or touches in a sexual way, or description or allusions to the sexual parts of one's anatomy. The same rule apply out of RP. Discussions must remain civil and not offend our youngest members. Flirting is one thing, frankly going at it is another and will not be tolerated. The use of "suggestive" emotes such is permitted as long as you don't abuse them. No thumbs displaying sexual scenes or suggesting a sexual theme will be allowed. Posting a link to a pornographic sign or using the bot in any way to post any content related to pornography or other offensive topic will be subject to immediate action from our team of admin, going from a kick to a ban, depending on the level of the offense.
This said, please be aware of the other users, you are not alone in the room. Our youngest members are 13 years old and up, and must be protected from this kind of offensive displays. If people are seen flirting or being "romantic" to the point that it makes someone uncomfortable, you will be asked to stop, and no second warning will be given.
If you want to report an unacceptable behavior, please send a note to an admin.

9. I have a problem/issue with one of the rules/mods/admins, what do I do?

As stated before, the admins and mods of #EverythingRPChatroom are very open to listening to suggestions and helping with solving issues. If you find yourself disliking a moderator, administrator, or rule for any reason please do not hesitate bringing up the issue, but do not make a scene out of it (in regards to rule 2). Generally we would appreciate it if you discuss issues like these inside the #ERPCCounseling chatroom so as not to disturb other users. However, if you feel it’s necessary please send a note clearly stating and describing your issue to =Takanahara and he will address the issue as best as he can and in the most timely matter.

10. I’d like to create my own species/race, is that allowed?

By all means the light is green for go. But we prohibit any race/species that seems invincible, all-powerful, or downright impossible. If you’d like to introduce a new race please don’t hesitate to bring it up to a mod/admin. Let the creative juices flow, that’s what we like to see! However if you decide to create a race, we highly suggest you write specs and descriptions about that race and submit it to the Club account so we can reference future users to the deviation for clarity. Again, this chatroom has no limits to the type or genre of roleplay, so practically everything and anything is accepted!

11. I feel that I, or another user, was unfairly treated, kicked, or banned from the chatroom, is there an appeal process?

Please submit all appeals to =Takanahara and the case will be considered for revision. Submitting an appeal, however, does not mean you will get what you want nor will you get a speedy reply. Depending on the situation and severity of the issue we will notify you of the results as soon as we can, so please don’t pester admins/mods about it. Cases are always up for revisiting, so don’t think all is lost if you want to appeal. We make decisions on the case through a majority vote of the mods/admins, =Takanahara acting as judge depending on the case.

12. I have a chatroom I’d like to be affiliated with #EverythingRPChatroom?

If you’d like to have your chatroom affiliated with ERPC please submit a request to the club account for pending review. If the chatroom is deemed viable of affiliation you will be notified immediately by a mod or admin.

13. Can I make more than one character?

By all means, absolutely! We, again, highly encourage using that creative side of the brain. This being said, we do not allow users to use characters from real events and official fictional stories and plots (such as Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc). It's practically impossible to say what those characters really could and would do in certain situations as we are not the original characters nor are we the characters themselves. However, if the character is from an original story/plot that you created on your own they're more than welcome in our chatroom.

14. Can I submit artwork?

We welcome any types of artwork, but try to keep it oriented to the chatroom (i.e. literary submissions about the growth of wildlife in africa or fan artwork of official literary series). Simply note the club account with a link of the submission for pending review!
